Klein & Son's Logging, Inc Business Information

Our company, Klein & Son's Logging, Inc. has been in business for three generations. We have two log yards. One located in White Sulphur Springs, New York and the other is located in Lacona, New York.

We do forest management work for many land owners in the Tri-State area with our own crew.Our workers take safety courses on the proper procedures to be used on the job, first aid and CPR. We comply to OSHA regulations. When forest management work is done for a landowner a contract is signed, payment is made in full and a insurance certificate is issued before the start of any work. We are members of New York State Timber Producers Association and New York Lumbermen Insurance Trust Fund. We take great pride in our quality of work and our appearance. After the timber is harvested we grade all trails and landing with our D4 Cat Dozer, seed and then mulch with hay to complete the job. All our logging equipment and vehicles are serviced and maintained on a regular basis to avoid break downs or personal injury as not to cause down time.

We also buy timber from approximately 50-60 different loggers in the area. All the logs are delivered to our log yards where they are scaled for grade and footage then separated and sold to various log mills allowing us to get higher prices.
